About The Position

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Operations Management (EMP5180) during the Winter 2027 semester. This position is within the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation and is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor. The course is taught in English and is scheduled for Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00. The expected enrollment is 60 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering required
• APICS certification (or equivalent) required
• Extensive industry track record in professional and managerial role(s) in supply chain management required

Nice To Haves

• Master's in management or engineering preferred
• Ph.D. an asset
• Experience in post-secondary teaching and/or professional development instruction preferred
