This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach DTI6103: User Research during the Winter 2027 semester. The course focuses on understanding user behaviors, needs, motivations, and challenges in user experience (UX). It covers common user research methods such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and contextual inquiries, as well as principles for generative and evaluative research. The curriculum includes qualitative and quantitative research methods, tools and techniques for in-person and remote research, and moderated vs. automated approaches, along with heuristic evaluations and usability testing.
