About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Forensic Psychology (PSY3173, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course is a lecture-based introduction to the study of individual human behavior as it relates to law and justice systems, including current research in forensic psychology. The course will be taught in English and is offered in person.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Advanced knowledge in Forensic Psychology
  • Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

Nice To Haves

  • Competence in a second language (passive).

Responsibilities

  • Teach Forensic Psychology (PSY3173, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be canceled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
