About The Position

This position involves implementing the theoretical principles learned in NUT2503 Food Science Laboratory Techniques (lecture course). Responsibilities include laboratory preparation and setup. The course is delivered in person on the Lees campus and is categorized as a Type 'C' course, involving written assignments and exams that cannot be machine-graded.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Food Science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of various standard laboratory procedures and techniques.
  • Valid WHMIS-Laboratory and Laboratory Biosafety certifications.
  • Experience in the course subject matter.
  • Candidates without the required certifications can complete them online before the start of classes.
  • If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must specify in their CV how their academic training relates to Food Sciences.
