About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach the course FEM5700 - Théories féministes during the Fall 2026 semester. The course examines different approaches to contemporary feminist theory from a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspective. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The offered rate does not include vacation or statutory pay, and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification.

Requirements

  • Doctorate preferred.
  • University teaching experience at the graduate level preferred.
  • Works or publications in the field of feminist theories.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
