The University of Ottawa is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor for the course POL3533/CMN3533 - Politique et médias during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course explores the relationship between media and politics in Canada and abroad, examining the influence of media on politics and vice versa. It will cover the role of media as intermediaries between citizens and political authorities, their function in defining political issues, especially during electoral campaigns, and the interplay between reality and media portrayals, with case studies included. The course will be delivered online in a synchronous, scheduled format with live instruction. The University provides training for online course delivery. The teaching mode may change due to health reasons or other factors.
