This course, POL3535 Section A00, focuses on the study of issues and policies concerning Francophones in Ontario. The course aims to provide a deeper understanding of the French fact in the 20th century, Francophone groups and movements in Ontario, and the role of Francophones in Ontario's political dynamics. Additionally, it seeks to foster theoretical reflection on the culture, being, and becoming of French-speaking citizens living in a minority context (outside Quebec) within the Canadian federation. The course will be taught in French and will be delivered in person, though the teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons.
