Requirements

PhD degree in Economics or Master's degree in economics.
Recent professional experience as an economist related to the course focus in the public, para-public, or private sector.
Demonstrated experience is required, otherwise the application will not be considered.
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent to the educational requirements and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

Teach the course Monnaie et banques : introduction (ECO-2515 Section A00) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
Cover course content including money and credit, bank structures and competition, financial markets, Bank of Canada operations, money supply determination, deposit creation/destruction, monetary control instruments, and Canadian economic development and monetary policy analysis.
Adhere to the collective agreement and university policies.
Complete all mandatory legislated training.
