About The Position

Introduction to the measurement and analysis of quantitative data in the field of physical activity sciences. This course involves the use of computer applications for managing, analyzing, and presenting scientific data. It covers descriptive and inferential statistics for various types of variables (categorical, nominal, ordinal, numerical, continuous, discrete), including concepts such as central tendency, variability, measures of association, and hypothesis testing.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Human Kinetics (Exercise Physiology) or a related field.
  • 3 credits / 3 credits
  • 39 hours of teaching per semester
  • In-person teaching mode, on campus
  • An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational requirements and/or demonstrated experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching in a university setting is preferred.
