About The Position

This position is accountable for overseeing Gilhooley’s Student Lounge by requiring guests to log their visit, monitor activities, and manage the facility. Requirements

• MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
• Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
• Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Responsibilities

• Monitor access to ensure visitors are authorized through Cougar Card swipe
• Maintain attendance logs for tracking space usage
• Manage equipment check-out for use in the space (pool table supplies, ping pong supplies, board games, etc.)
• Complete basic cleaning duties to sanitize table tops, sweep floors and collect trash
• Assist with facility concerns and report to administrative staff any areas that need attention
• Provide assistance with information regarding programs and events
• Become familiar with the University policies, procedures, and general information to assist with inquiries
• Assists with special projects and assignments within the Division of Student Life
• Performs related duties as assigned
