Student Media Videographer - Student Employment

About The Position

The Videographer is in charge of the entire library of photo/image/video content that will be published by the Department of Student Media, both online and internally. She/he will attend official SXU events to take pictures, shoot video, and maintain the archive of The Department of Student Media. Requirements

  • MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
  • Must be Federal Work Study E ligible
  • Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
  • Has experience utilizing the Adobe Cloud Suite, specifically: Photoshop, Premier, InDesign, and Illustrator.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in photography and video production preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In charge of all picture content for Student Media including: The Xavierite and WXAV 88.3FM
  • Attends SXU events to supply pictures for publication in The Xavierite.
  • Collaborates with student djs and writers in shooting interviews with potential guests
  • Publishes video and photography across Student Media’s various social media platforms
  • Leading member of the Entertainment Committee.
  • Attend weekly general staff meeting
  • Maintain weekly-posted office hours (4 hours per week).
