About The Position

Prosper Health is seeking a Strategy & Operations Associate for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to drive strategy and analytics related to revenue collection and client access to services. This role involves pushing data-driven solutions against RCM's key strategic priorities, managing projects from analysis to execution. It is a cross-functional role collaborating with engineering, client experience, and vendor partners. This is an early-career opportunity with high visibility to senior leadership at a high-growth startup. The role is based in NYC, requiring 3-5 days per week in the Chelsea office.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking.
• First-principles thinking and fast learning are valued over domain experience.
• Driven by data: Ability to break down complex problems into simple, actionable insights.
• Excited by building analyses and models from the ground up.
• Understand data in the broader context and can translate data into business action.
• Action-oriented: Take the 80/20 approach and don’t get stuck in analysis.
• Bias toward action and impact, finding scrappy solutions and learning fast through iteration.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-impact projects: Lead initiatives that move the needle on company growth—such as reducing claim denials—by breaking them into actionable, sprint-based plans.
• Coordinate across engineering, operations, clinical, and client experience teams to launch effective solutions.
• Build analytics that matter: Design reporting that translate complex revenue cycle data into clear insights that drive decisions.
• Get hands-on: Self-teach tools as needed (SQL, BI platforms, Claude Cowork) and do the low-level work yourself to move fast, rather than waiting on others.
