About The Position

The RCM Operations, PreProcess Specialist supports VaxCare’s Revenue Cycle Management Operations Team by handling pre-submission claims processing. The role oversees claims submitted to insurance companies and addresses internal and payer rejection errors to help ensure claims are accurately submitted, promptly, and reach an accepted status. It includes using external payer portals to obtain patient eligibility information and processing claims through the clearinghouse. The position is full-time and in-office, and reports to the PreProcess Manager.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare insurance claims experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet assigned daily quality and quantity work metrics.
• File claim corrections using web-based applications and bring claims to a final state of resolution promptly.
• Investigate factors that cause claims to be rejected by the clearinghouse and make changes to achieve acceptance.
• Collaborate with the team to create and implement improved collection techniques based on experience, data, and analytics.
