About The Position

IXL Learning is seeking a Strategic Partnership Specialist to join its Professional Learning team and support Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). This full-time remote position is for candidates living in Miami, Florida. The specialist delivers professional learning to M-DCPS administrators, principals, and educators to help them implement IXL in schools and classrooms, and works with district leaders to develop strategies for using IXL to support instructional initiatives and goals. The role calls for an enthusiastic, organized, strategic educational leader with strong presentation and communication skills and a commitment to professional development practices that improve teacher impact and support company success.

The position includes local travel of up to 60% to deliver professional development and implementation support, with occasional overnight travel. The specialist collaborates with school and district partners, uses data to guide decisions and next steps, and partners with Customer Success and Sales colleagues to manage and grow customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• At least 7 years of educational professional development experience.
• Experience as a school or district administrator, or extensive experience delivering professional development to those audiences.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies that support instruction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect well with others and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently from start to finish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience in a K-12 setting, preferably in M-DCPS.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation support to M-DCPS schools and regions.
• Deliver live and virtual professional development sessions to drive engagement with and usage of IXL.
• Travel locally to deliver professional development and implementation support to M-DCPS schools and regions; travel may reach 60% and occasionally include overnight trips.
• Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan supporting successful IXL implementation.
• Use data to inform decisions and strategize next steps.
• Partner with Customer Success and Sales team members to manage and grow customer relationships.
