About The Position

IXL Learning is seeking a Strategic Partnership Specialist to join its Professional Learning team and support Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). The role provides professional learning and implementation support to district administrators, school principals, and educators, helping them use IXL effectively in schools and classrooms. The Specialist also works with district leaders to develop strategies for using IXL to advance instructional initiatives and goals.

This is a full-time remote position for candidates living in Miami, Florida. The role involves up to 60% local travel, with occasional overnight travel, to deliver professional development and implementation support to M-DCPS schools and regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
• At least 7 years of educational professional development experience.
• Experience as a school or district administrator, or extensive experience delivering professional development to school or district administrators.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies that support instruction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect well with others and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Strong organization, methodical work habits, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks from start to finish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching in a K–12 setting, preferably in M-DCPS.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation support to M-DCPS schools and regions.
• Deliver live and virtual professional development sessions to promote engagement with and usage of IXL.
• Travel locally to deliver professional development and provide implementation support, with up to 60% local travel and occasional overnight travel.
• Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan for successful IXL implementation.
• Use data to inform decisions and determine next steps.
• Partner with Customer Success and Sales team members to manage and grow customer relationships.
• Collaborate with district leaders on strategies for leveraging IXL to support initiatives and instructional goals.
