About The Position

This role is for a senior marketer who wants to operate as a high-leverage individual contributor, responsible for writing and running the marketing playbook for Meridian, an AI operating system developed by Pilot for mid-market accounting firms. The focus is on enterprise B2B marketing with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. The primary goal is to build trust in the Meridian brand and generate pipeline at scale. The role involves defining segment strategy, executing demand generation and partner programs, and owning pipeline generation in close partnership with sales. The marketing team has experienced significant growth and operates with high ownership, collaboration, and a focus on key values: owning work, caring more than expected, building things well, and fighting for every opportunity. This is a hybrid role based in either San Francisco or Nashville, requiring in-office presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience in enterprise or multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • Strong foundation in demand generation and account-based marketing.
  • Experience with pipeline ownership and conversion metrics.
  • Ability to hold a strategic narrative and shape category understanding.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales leadership on account prioritization and pipeline goals.
  • AI-fluent in workflow, using LLMs and AI tools for research, drafting, iteration, and scaling plays.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor.
  • Clear writing and communication skills.
  • Understanding of selling to and through partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute segment strategy for winning mid-market accounting firms.
  • Own pipeline generation for the segment in partnership with sales.
  • Develop and execute demand generation and partner programs.
  • Shape messaging for mid-market accounting firms, both externally and for sales materials.
  • Build full-funnel programs.
  • Operate as a high-leverage individual contributor, building programs, writing messaging, and owning pipeline.
  • Potentially manage one or two senior ICs if coaching fit develops, or remain a pure IC.
