About The Position

This role is for a senior marketer who wants to operate as a high-leverage individual contributor, responsible for writing and running the marketing playbook for Meridian, an AI operating system developed by Pilot for mid-market accounting firms. The focus is on enterprise B2B marketing with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. The primary goal is to build trust in the Meridian brand and generate pipeline at scale. The role involves defining segment strategy, executing demand generation and partner programs, and shaping messaging for mid-market accounting firms. Success in the first year includes establishing a clear go-to-market strategy, moving Meridian from launch awareness to sustained pipeline generation, and building strong working relationships with adjacent teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including time in enterprise or multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • Strong foundation in demand generation and account-based marketing, including pipeline ownership and conversion metrics.
  • Ability to hold a strategic narrative and shape category understanding.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales leadership on account prioritization and pipeline goals.
  • AI-fluent in workflow, using LLMs and AI tools for research, drafting, iteration, and execution.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience marketing to complex B2B buyers with multi-stakeholder, longer sales cycles.
  • Understanding of selling to and through partners.

  • Open to managing one or two senior ICs if a coaching fit develops.
  • Experience in the accounting industry or with financial services technology.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Meridian to win mid-market accounting firms.
  • Generate pipeline and be accountable for segment production in close partnership with sales.
  • Align with sales on account prioritization and build programs to move prospects from first impression to signed contract.
  • Shape the messaging and external communication for Pilot to mid-market accounting firms, including sales enablement materials.
  • Build full-funnel programs with support from shared specialists.
