About The Position

This role is for a Strategic Marketing Lead focused on enterprise B2B marketing for mid-market accounting firms adopting Meridian, an AI operating system developed by Pilot. The primary goal is to build and execute the go-to-market strategy, generate pipeline, and shape messaging for this specific segment. The role is designed for a senior marketer who will operate as a high-leverage individual contributor, building programs and owning pipeline with support from shared specialists. The position reports to the VP of Marketing and involves collaboration with other marketing functions and potentially managing other individual contributors if coaching relationships develop. The marketing team has experienced significant growth and is composed of senior channel experts who operate with high ownership and drive substantial revenue. The company values include owning work, caring more than expected, building things well, and fighting for opportunities. This is a hybrid role based in either San Francisco or Nashville, requiring in-office presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including time in enterprise or multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • Strong foundation in demand generation and account-based marketing, including pipeline ownership and conversion metrics.
  • Ability to hold a strategic narrative and shape category understanding.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales leadership on account prioritization and pipeline goals.
  • AI-fluent in personal workflow, using LLMs and AI tools for research, drafting, and iteration.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor.
  • Clear writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the segment strategy for winning mid-market accounting firms.
  • Own and drive pipeline generation for the accounting firm segment in close partnership with sales.
  • Develop and shape the messaging for how Pilot speaks to mid-market accounting firms, including sales materials.
  • Build demand and partner programs for Meridian.
  • Collaborate with the Franchisor motion and Partner Marketing & Events function.
  • Potentially manage one or two senior individual contributors if coaching fit develops.
