About The Position

Remitly is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to own and grow important business partner relationships after agreements are signed. The role combines commercial strategy, relationship management, product, and operations, with responsibility for moving partnerships from implementation to live payment volume, revenue growth, retention, and expansion. The manager acts as a strategic advisor, learning partners’ business objectives, payment flows, customer needs, and expansion plans and identifying ways to apply additional Remitly capabilities, corridors, use cases, and volume. The position manages partner onboarding and implementation with cross-functional teams, establishes joint business plans, monitors commercial and operational performance, and develops strategies to maximize partner value and Remitly revenue. It also involves executive-level relationship management, resolving issues with clear ownership, sharing partner and market insights internally, and maintaining account plans, forecasts, expansion pipelines, and partner health metrics. The role is intended for someone who enjoys commercial accountability and actively drives growth, measurable outcomes, and implementation details rather than only maintaining relationships or handing issues off to other teams. Remitly’s corporate Connected Work Culture expects in-office collaboration at least 50% of the time monthly, typically three days per week. The starting U.S. base salary range is $144,000–$180,000; equity is part of total compensation, and recruiters can provide details about medical and other financial benefits.
