About The Position

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) – E-commerce is responsible for aligning Groupe Touchette’s business strategies with the B2C online retailers (pure players). This role focuses on managing the End-to-End (E2E) retail business, including product strategy, demand forecasting, supply planning, distribution optimization, and price positioning to ensure sustainable growth, competitive market presence and increase market share. The ideal candidate has strong e-commerce experience, solid knowledge of the tire industry, and is fully bilingual.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, supply chain, or merchandising (preferably in tire, automotive, or e-commerce industries)
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, and e-commerce logistics
  • Experience with pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and promotions
  • Proven ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and inventory metrics
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI)
  • Bilingualism required: proficiency in English and French is necessary due to the nature of interactions with partners across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all key e-retail customer communications
  • Manage Associate Dealer Programs, including performance management & timely reporting
  • Manage program & promotions (E2E) and compliance to the DSA
  • Manage all aftersales customer support, including RGA, warranties and customer experience (CX) issue resolution
  • Provide complete monthly, quarterly & annual customer reporting
  • Collaborate with merchandising and supply teams to define the optimal product mix for e-retail customers across regions
  • Provide customers with accurate and complete information on product specifications, launches, pricing changes, and lifecycle transitions
  • Implement differentiated strategies (e.g., brand/model prioritization) to ensure competitiveness versus brick-and-mortar channels
  • Monitor sales performance (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to adapt account strategies
  • Analyze e-retail data, consumer demand, and competitor offerings to refine assortment recommendations
  • Partner with e-retailers and demand planners to build accurate forecasts based on historical data, growth trends, and seasonality
  • Support inventory planning to prevent stockouts or overstock situations and maintain optimal supply-demand balance
  • Proactively manage supply chain disruptions by influencing allocation strategies based on real-time data
  • Align with merchandising teams to prioritize key SKUs for e-commerce
  • Ensure seamless order fulfillment in collaboration with B2B operations
  • Optimize drop-shipping, warehousing, and last-mile delivery strategies for B2C efficiency
  • Track logistics KPIs (delivery times, accuracy, customer satisfaction) and identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop pricing strategies aligned with Groupe Touchette’s positioning while remaining competitive online
  • Conduct market analysis on competitor pricing, promotions, and discounting
  • Support promotional planning aligned with inventory and product strategies
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer MAP pricing policies
  • Collaborate with sales, merchandising, supply chain, distribution, and marketing teams
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key e-retail partners
  • Act as a strategic advisor, delivering data-driven insights to optimize performance
  • Support digital marketing alignment (SEO/SEM) to enhance differentiation
  • Serve as the main liaison between Groupe Touchette and e-retail partners
  • Oversee online-to-offline (O2O) fulfillment models ensuring seamless customer experience
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to integrate e-commerce platforms, inventory systems, and 3PL partners
  • Monitor KPIs such as order-to-cash cycle, order accuracy, and service levels
  • Identify and resolve operational or technical bottlenecks
  • Optimize service networks and pickup locations based on demand
