About the position
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts and building sustainable, long-term business relationships. They will develop and implement sales and purchasing strategies to meet customer needs and consistently achieve sales goals. The role requires a deep understanding of customer structure, culture, and needs, as well as the ability to provide immediate and reliable solutions. The Strategic Account Manager will also represent the company's culture, values, and value proposition while maintaining and cultivating strategic customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop a portfolio of key accounts
- Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships
- Implementation of sales and purchasing strategies to customers
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the structure, culture, and needs of key customers
- Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly gross profit sales goals
- Represent and communicate Velocity's culture, values, and value proposition
- Provide immediate and reliable solutions to customer needs
- Create and present periodic reports detailing customer interactions
