About The Position

The Strategic Account Development Lead owns research, relationship development, and opportunity discovery for a focused portfolio of existing clients and partners. The role turns account intelligence into relevant conversations, identifies needs aligned with S2Tech’s capabilities, and maintains momentum from initial outreach through opportunity development. Working directly with the COO, the Lead prepares concise executive briefs, develops relationships beyond existing contacts, and arranges purposeful executive discussions. The COO provides executive sponsorship, participates in substantive discussions, approves commercial commitments, and supports closing. The Lead independently manages preparation, coordination, and follow-through within agreed priorities. S2Tech provides technology consulting and resource support for healthcare and government health and human services programs, including Medicaid systems, business analysis, testing, data and integration, and application support. The company works directly with government clients and alongside consulting and technology partners. The position is remote in Hyderabad, India, and requires working the full Eastern Time schedule throughout the year. This corresponds to 6:30 p.m.–2:30 a.m. IST during US daylight saving time and 7:30 p.m.–3:30 a.m. IST during US standard time.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, account development, or client-facing account management serving US clients, preferably in IT services, consulting, or staffing.
  • Candidates with 2–4 years of directly relevant experience are welcome; demonstrated capability determines fit, and more experienced candidates will also be considered.
  • Examples of personally building client relationships, uncovering needs, and advancing opportunities, with a clear explanation of individual contributions and outcomes.
  • Ability to research organizations, assess source credibility, synthesize findings, and produce concise, accurate executive summaries and outreach messages.
  • Strong spoken and written business English, including the ability to lead initial discovery discussions and communicate professionally with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to recommend and execute next steps independently, manage several accounts, and maintain reliable follow-through using CRM and office productivity tools.
  • Availability to work the full Eastern Time schedule throughout the year.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with US healthcare, Medicaid, government health and human services, or technology partners serving these markets.
  • Experience expanding existing accounts, navigating large partner organizations, or researching government contracts and procurement pathways.
  • Familiarity with staff augmentation, time-and-materials consulting, offshore delivery, or professional employer organization models.
  • Experience using AI-assisted research tools with independent source verification and appropriate handling of confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Research account programs, contracts, incumbent providers, partners, organizational structures, priorities, and business challenges using public sources and internal account knowledge.
  • Map stakeholders across delivery, technology, business leadership, partnerships, and procurement; assess decision authority and influence and identify relationship gaps.
  • Maintain concise executive account summaries separating verified facts from hypotheses and documenting potential needs, S2Tech’s fit, recommended actions, and open questions.
  • Prepare meeting briefs covering the purpose of discussions, participants, relevant history, proposed questions, the COO’s role, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and execute tailored account plans and outreach, build on existing introductions, and establish relationships within assigned organizations.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand priorities, resource or delivery gaps, timing, decision processes, and procurement requirements.
  • Qualify potential opportunities against S2Tech’s capabilities and commercial priorities, recommend next steps, and involve the COO when executive engagement could advance discussions.
  • Secure meaningful meetings; coordinate participants; send calendar invitations; and own agendas and meeting readiness.
  • Record decisions, commitments, owners, and dates; coordinate responses from recruiting, delivery, and leadership; and pursue agreed next steps.
  • Maintain current account and opportunity records in the designated CRM or tracking system and provide concise progress updates, obstacles, and recommended actions.
  • Work within approved outreach and commercial boundaries; route pricing, contractual terms, and material resource commitments to the COO; and respect applicable public-sector procurement communication requirements.
