About The Position

The Storeroom role is responsible for pulling and organizing inventory to fulfill work orders and maintaining inventory organization and accuracy at PGE’s Avery Operations Center. The position supports the company’s continuous public service operations and may assist with storms or other company emergencies. The posted schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a starting pay rate of $27.63. Applicants must complete the employment application by the posting close date of November 16, 2026, unless the position is open until filled.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Acquire PGE forklift certification within six months of the start date and maintain it.
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

At least three years of inventory or warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work safely.
Keep stock properly labeled, and receive, check, and sort material in the storeroom.
Issue and return material, supplies, and tools.
Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble materials.
Sort, recondition, and restock material in the salvage area.
Operate vehicles such as forklifts, small trucks, and pickups.
Enter inventory transaction data into the PGE Inventory Management System.
Maintain general housekeeping in the storeroom and yard.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with storms or other company emergencies.
