About The Position
The Storeroom position at PGE's Sunset Operations Center is responsible for pulling and organizing inventory to fulfill work orders while maintaining inventory organization and accuracy. The role supports PGE's continuous public service operation and may assist with storms or other Company emergencies. The stated hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the starting pay is $27.63.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, which must be maintained.
- Acquire PGE forklift certification within six months of the start date and maintain it.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- At least three years of inventory or warehouse experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Work safely.
- Keep stock properly labeled; receive, check, and sort material in the storeroom.
- Issue and return material, supplies, and tools.
- Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble materials.
- Sort, recondition, and restock material in the salvage area.
- Operate vehicles such as forklifts, small trucks, and pickups.
- Enter inventory transaction data into the PGE Inventory Management System.
- Maintain general housekeeping in the storeroom and yard.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with storms or other Company emergencies.
