About The Position

The Storeroom position is responsible for pulling and organizing inventory to fulfill work orders while maintaining inventory organization and accuracy. The role is based at PGE’s Sunset Operations Center and has listed hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Assisting with storms or other Company emergencies is part of all positions at Portland General Electric.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must acquire PGE forklift certification within six months of the start date and maintain it.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

At least three years of inventory or warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work safely.
Keep stock properly labeled, and receive, check, and sort material in the storeroom.
Issue and return material, supplies, and tools.
Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble materials.
Sort, recondition, and restock material in the salvage area.
Operate vehicles such as forklifts, small trucks, and pickups.
Enter inventory transaction data into the PGE Inventory Management System.
Maintain general housekeeping in the storeroom and yard.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with storms or other Company emergencies.
