STOREROOM SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Storeroom Supervisor oversees and coordinates activities in a storeroom or stockroom. The role supervises associates who order, receive, put away, issue, or ship inventory; ensures supplies are adequate and stored to preserve quality; and ensures the FIFO system is used to minimize waste. The supervisor plans storeroom layout and design with consideration for stock turnover, size, and weight; communicates with management about non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock; and resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records. The role also assists vendors with access for deliveries, supervises while the area is unsecured, and covers shifts for storeroom employees who are absent. Other duties may be assigned. This is a full-time position with a schedule whose days and hours may vary. Some weekends and holidays are included. The position is located at UC Health UCMC in Cincinnati, Ohio. Pay is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. Previous related experience is preferred. Responsibilities
- Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
- Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
- Ensure stocks and supplies are adequate and stored in a manner that preserves their quality.

- Plan the layout and design of the storeroom, considering stock turnover, size, and weight.
- Communicate with management and make recommendations regarding non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock.
- Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records.
- Assist vendors in gaining access to deliver and supervise while the area is unsecured.
- Cover shifts for storeroom employees who are on vacation, sick, or otherwise absent.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
