About The Position

Responsible for receiving, storing, and taking inventory of departmental supplies and food, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The role supports efficient Food Service Department operations by managing supplies, following storage and food-safety procedures, and completing required records and reports. The position is full-time at Shopify in Bellevue, Washington, with a schedule of days that may vary from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Previous customer service experience is required. The advertised pay range is $23.00 to $26.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

Inventory and maintain food and other supplies needed for efficient department operations.
Store food and supplies in appropriate containers and designated storage areas according to department guidelines.
Maintain records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable foods.
Date, label, and rotate stock so older products are used first.
Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company ordering procedures.
Secure designated areas, including those containing theft-sensitive items, dangerous chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and follow storeroom security procedures.
Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate resources.
Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time and according to corporate policies and procedures.
Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets, and operate equipment according to department safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
