About The Position

The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and inventorying departmental supplies and food items, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The role supports efficient Food Service Department operations by managing stock, storage conditions, ordering, and required documentation in accordance with company procedures and food-safety standards. This is a full-time position at UF Health North in Jacksonville, Florida, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay range is $16.50 to $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Previous experience managing accounts is required.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Inventory and maintain food and other supplies needed for efficient department operations.
Store food and supplies in appropriate containers and designated areas according to department guidelines.
Maintain records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable foods.
Date, label, and rotate stock so older products are used first.
Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company protocols.
Secure designated areas, including areas containing theft-sensitive items, dangerous chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Follow storeroom security and organization procedures.
Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure safe, intact delivery.
Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate resources.
Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets.
Use equipment in accordance with department safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
