About The Position

The Storeroom/Delivery associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and keeping inventory of departmental supplies and food items, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The role supports efficient Food Service Department operations by handling supplies safely, following storage and food-safety procedures, and completing required records and reports. A valid driver's license is required for this posting; the position is willing to train.

Responsibilities

Inventory and maintain food and other supplies to support efficient Food Service Department operations.
Store food and supplies in the correct containers and designated areas according to department guidelines.
Maintain records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable food items.
Date, label, and rotate stock so older products are used first.
Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company ordering protocols.
Secure designated areas containing theft-sensitive items, hazardous chemicals, supplies, and equipment; follow storeroom security procedures.
Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate resources.
Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports by established deadlines.
Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and safety data sheets.
Use equipment according to department safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
