STOREROOM ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and inventorying departmental supplies and food, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The role involves keeping adequate supplies available for efficient Food Service Department operations; storing products properly; monitoring and recording storage temperatures; dating, labeling, and rotating stock; and ordering items according to company procedures. The attendant also follows security, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures; transports supplies safely; reports equipment maintenance needs; and completes required reports on time. No previous experience is required, and training is provided. This is a full-time position at Regeneron, 81 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, New York. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The pay range is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Inventory and maintain food and other supplies to support efficient Food Service Department operations.
- Store food and supplies in appropriate containers and designated storage areas according to department guidelines.
- Maintain records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable food items.
- Date, label, and rotate stock so older products are used first.
- Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company protocols.
- Secure designated areas containing theft-sensitive items, dangerous chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and follow storeroom security procedures.
- Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
- Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate resources.
- Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately and by established deadlines.
- Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets, and operate equipment according to department safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
