About The Position

The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and inventorying departmental supplies and food items, and maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The position is based at Target in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with holidays and weekends off. The pay range is $17.00 to $17.50 per hour. Previous stockroom experience is preferred. Perks include free parking and a shift meal.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and maintain food and other supplies to support efficient Food Service Department operations.
• Store food and supplies in the correct containers and designated areas according to department guidelines.
• Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures for perishable food items.
• Date, label, and rotate stock so older products are used first.
• Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company ordering protocols.
• Secure areas containing items that could be stolen or pose hazards, and follow storeroom security procedures.
• Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
• Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate resources.
• Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
• Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets, and use equipment in accordance with department safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
