About The Position

Store Team Members support Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago’s mission by helping deliver customer service across production, donation, sales floor, and cashier functions. Production Associates price donations according to guidelines and goals, helping maximize funds for Goodwill’s mission and maintain an efficient flow of donations. Donation Attendants greet and thank donors, accept and sort donations, and help keep the production area organized. Sales Floor Associates organize merchandise and help customers find items, answer questions, and enjoy a positive shopping experience. Cashiers build relationships with customers, accurately process purchases, and explain how purchases support employment opportunities. The role offers opportunities to learn, cross-train, and advance.

Requirements

• One year of customer service, retail, or production experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift while maintaining a customer service mindset.
• Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maintain customer service standards when interacting with donors.

• Price donations according to pricing guidelines and production goals.
• Maintain an efficient flow of donations to support the sales floor.
