About The Position

The Store Shift Supervisor is responsible for store operations during an assigned shift and assists store management in ensuring efficient operations. Duties include sales, merchandising, pricing, display maintenance, and related paperwork. The role also supports supervision of store personnel, provides customer service, handles cash and store deposits, receives merchandise and donations, and maintains a clean, safe, and organized store.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of retail experience required.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass prescreenings such as background or drug screenings.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist with supervising store personnel.
Arrange store windows, displays, and promotional activities.
Sell merchandise, provide customer service, and resolve customer complaints by implementing HGI policy.
Maintain store premises and merchandise in a clean, safe, and organized fashion.
Ensure required store supplies are available.
Follow required safety and security procedures.
Comply with company and store policies, including opening and closing tasks, pricing, markdowns, and timely, accurate paperwork.
Receive and verify merchandise delivered from the warehouse and vendors.
Ring sales accurately, handle money, reconcile cash, and make store deposits in accordance with company policy.
Perform administrative and clerical store-operation duties.
Receive donations and transport them to the designated area.
Participate in training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
