About The Position

The Store Sales Associate helps create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors while supporting The Salvation Army's community programs. The role combines customer service and retail operations, helping transform donations into resources that support the organization's mission of serving people in need. The position is part time, 25 hours per week, and pays $14.00.

Requirements

High school diploma or currently pursuing one.
Strong English communication skills for interactions with customers and team members.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Professional appearance and adherence to the dress code.

Ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and handle merchandise while maintaining store appearance.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and offer assistance to provide exceptional customer service.
Process sales accurately using the Point of Sale system, including opening, closing, and balancing.
Maintain the store's appearance by cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
Process and display new merchandise to help meet daily production goals.
