About The Position

Join The Salvation Army team as a Store Sales Associate and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors. The role combines customer service and retail operations to support The Salvation Army's community programs. Store donations are transformed into resources that support the mission of serving people in need. The position is part-time, 25 hours per week, and pays $14.00 per hour. POS system training is provided, with expected proficiency within three months, along with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or currently pursuing a high school diploma.
• Strong English communication skills for customer and team interactions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer assistance.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale system, including opening, closing, and balancing.
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
• Help meet daily production goals by processing and displaying new merchandise.
• Contribute to a positive shopping environment.
