About The Position

The Store/Price Integrity Lead Clerk maintains pricing documentation accuracy in the store and demonstrates the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role supports store operations by maintaining pricing and retail accounting files, verifying vendor and store scanning, and caring for the computer room and related systems. The clerk also promotes company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports and performs other duties as assigned. The position requires flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as business demands, and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. The essential functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Understanding of key components of department operations, including managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense control.

Responsibilities

Maintain the store UPC File, including price changes, deletions, and new items.
Check in and test scan all vendors.
Maintain weekly ad items in the scanning file.
Provide housekeeping in the computer room, including checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping the floor, checking battery backup systems, and conducting a monthly power-fail simulation.
Copy the PLU File twice a week.
Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
Test scan the entire store every six to eight weeks.
Maintain the Special Report File, including A.C. Nielson, Sami, and the Special Item Movement Report.
Promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
Perform any and all duties as assigned.
Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as work demands, and be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
