About The Position
Household Furniture is hiring a Store Manager to lead the sales floor at one of its locations serving El Paso, Las Cruces, and Southern New Mexico. This floor-leadership role is accountable for store revenue, sales performance, team development, and the customer experience. The manager coaches a commission sales team, oversees daily store operations, and reports monthly results to ownership. A structured onboarding program helps the manager learn the company’s products, systems, and team before taking ownership of the store.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail experience, including experience leading or supervising a sales team.
- A track record of meeting sales goals and the ability to discuss sales results.
- Ability to coach others to sell.
Nice To Haves
- Furniture, big-ticket, or commission retail experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Responsibilities
- Own store sales performance, including average ticket, close rate, protection-plan and add-on penetration, and financing.
- Recruit, coach, and develop the sales team.
- Manage daily store operations, including scheduling, floor merchandising, inventory accuracy, and delivery and warehouse coordination.
- Meet monthly sales targets and report results to ownership.
