About The Position

CosmoProf Store Managers lead a team-oriented retail environment serving licensed professionals in the beauty industry. The role manages talent, inspires the team, and ensures customers receive an unforgettable experience and tailored solutions for their hair and beauty needs. The Store Manager oversees store operations to meet or exceed sales goals, maintain the assigned budget, control expenses, grow sales, and manage inventory. The manager also ensures staff follow safety and security procedures and company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets, and maintains the store’s appearance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Self-starter attitude and a drive to continuously learn, develop, and educate store personnel and customers.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to perform physical activities including prolonged standing and walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching; and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.
