Store Manager
About The Position
Household Furniture is hiring a Store Manager to lead the sales floor at one of its locations serving El Paso, Las Cruces, and Southern New Mexico. This is a hands-on floor leadership role focused on sales performance, team development, daily store operations, and customer experience. The manager is personally accountable for store revenue and reports results to ownership. Compensation includes a base salary of $65,000–$80,000 plus a monthly performance bonus tied to store results. Top-performing managers can earn six figures. A structured onboarding program covers the company’s products, systems, and team before the manager assumes ownership of the store.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail experience, including experience leading or supervising a sales team.
- A track record of meeting sales goals and the ability to discuss sales performance numbers.
- Ability to coach others to sell.
- Weekend availability.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in furniture, big-ticket, or commission retail.
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Own store sales performance, including average ticket, close rate, protection-plan and add-on penetration, and financing.
- Recruit, coach, and develop the sales team.
- Manage daily store operations, including scheduling, floor merchandising, inventory accuracy, and delivery and warehouse coordination.
- Meet monthly sales targets and report results to ownership.
