About The Position

EZCORP is seeking a Store Manager for its EZPawn location in Plainview, Texas. The Store Manager leads, coaches, and mentors a team of 3 to 10 or more Sales Associates, delivers outstanding customer service, and builds ongoing customer relationships. The team negotiates mutually satisfying agreements with customers for pawn and sales transactions. This retail role offers the opportunity to connect with the local community and support customers while pursuing career growth.

The Store Manager oversees store performance, staffing and development, daily operations, merchandise pricing and presentation, security, and compliance. The role calls for engaging leadership, strong negotiation and customer-service skills, organization, sound judgment, and effective communication and prioritization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Ability to offer and describe solutions and their benefits to customers.
• Strategic and tactical management skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports and profitability statements, and provide recommendations and action plans.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train Team Members; monitor and appraise their job results.
• Coach and develop Team Members to support their performance and career aspirations.
• Schedule and assign Team Members, and follow up on work results to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure pricing and timely markdowns follow guidelines.
• Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
• Market and display merchandise to meet store standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment to protect Team Members and customers.
• Comply with all legal requirements.
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
