About The Position

The Store Manager at CosmoProf leads the store team and creates a positive experience for salon professional customers, connecting them with education, products, inspiration, and community. The manager oversees talent, inspires and develops associates, and ensures customers receive memorable service and customized solutions for their hair and beauty needs.

The role is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals through oversight of store operations, budget management, expense control, sales growth, and inventory management. The Store Manager also helps protect customers, associates, and store assets by ensuring compliance with safety, security, and company policies, and maintains the appearance of the store. The position involves physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Self-starter attitude and drive to continuously learn, develop, and educate store personnel and customers.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
