The Store Manager leads the day-to-day operations of a single Zales store, reporting to the District Manager. The role is responsible for sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth and development. Through personal selling, leadership, and coaching, the Store Manager fosters a People First environment that promotes diversity and inclusion, builds lasting customer relationships, and delivers a best-in-class customer experience. The Store Manager communicates performance expectations, coaches and develops team members, implements corporate initiatives, and ensures consistent representation of the brand. The role drives sales results, reviews reports and operational performance, identifies opportunities and problems, and develops plans to address them. The Store Manager also oversees talent selection and development, onboarding, customer service, inventory and visual merchandising practices, team member records, store cleanliness, and compliance with company policies. The schedule is based on store needs and includes a combination of opening and closing shifts, weekdays and weekends. Managers should aim for a five-day, 40-hour work week during non-peak periods; hours increase during peak selling periods. Regular scheduled attendance is an essential function. Travel to training sessions and business meetings, including air and overnight travel, may be required.
