About The Position

The PHOENIX Internship Program is a paid, 10-week program for rising junior and senior undergraduate students and graduate students. It offers hands-on experience, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to develop professional skills while learning from experienced professionals at a multi-brand retail company. This Store Experience internship supports the Express brand and is based at PHOENIX Retail, LLC’s Columbus, Ohio headquarters. The Summer 2027 program runs from June 2 to August 5, 2027. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, follow a four-days-in-office approach, relocate to the office location at their own expense, and commit to the full program. Housing accommodations are not provided. The program includes professional-skills workshops, networking with leaders, mentorship opportunities, cross-functional group projects, group outings, social events, and volunteer opportunities. Requirements

Be a rising junior or senior undergraduate student or a graduate student.
Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the customer and associate experience for stores.
Help evolve and shape communications through associate inquiries and surveys, data, and analytics.
Identify opportunities and recommend process changes to drive internal and external efficiencies.
Ensure the field is properly supported to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Partner cross-functionally on content ideas, messages, vehicles, and timing within brand standards for field leaders.
Lead cross-functional meetings to gather, align, and follow up on progress in Holiday strategy.
