ALDI is hiring part-time cashiers and stockers. Cashiers provide friendly, efficient checkout service; stockers keep shelves stocked and organized. Both roles contribute to smooth store operations and a positive customer shopping experience. The position averages fewer than 30 hours per week and starts at $19.00 per hour, with scheduled wage increases: $19.50 in Year 2, $20.00 in Year 3, $20.00 in Year 4, and $21.00 in Year 5. Employees model customer-service principles, support store management in meeting operational-efficiency and total-loss goals, follow company policies and processes, help maintain a safe workplace, uphold store-zone and merchandising standards, follow inventory and product-handling procedures, and perform general cleaning. Cashiers use the point-of-sale system to scan and process purchases accurately, follow cash-handling procedures, manage checkout lanes as needed, and fulfill curbside pickup orders. Stockers neatly replenish shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms and must be able to start work as early as 5:00 a.m. The role requires physical activity, including lifting and placing products weighing up to 45 pounds, and stocking in freezer and cooler environments. Employees operate store equipment and use glass and multipurpose cleaning products. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail experience are preferred.
