About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Store Associate is a limited-time role supporting increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. This customer-focused position works independently and as part of a team in a retail setting, helping customers and supporting store operations. Associates may assist across departments, including photo, beauty, and pharmacy, and advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
Remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods.
Lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount regularly, including overhead lifting.
Have close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Anticipate customer needs, provide compassionate and attentive service, and identify and resolve potential service issues.
Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating items.
Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and complete inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
Provide customer support to departments including photo and beauty, keeping them stocked and operational and staying current with services and tools.
Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.
Promote and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.
