About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Store Associate is a limited-time position supporting increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. This customer-focused role involves working independently and as part of a team in a retail setting to support customers and contribute to CVS Health’s health and service goals. The position is part time, with 28 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Able to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity to view a computer terminal, read, and visually inspect small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, showing care in interactions, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating items.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Provide customer support across departments, including photo and beauty, and help keep departments stocked and operational while staying current on services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers’ health.
