About The Position

This is a limited-time seasonal retail position supporting increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. The Retail Store Associate works independently and as part of a team in a customer-focused retail setting, helping customers and supporting store operations. The position may also provide opportunities to work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth and career development.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain standing for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and negligible force regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity to use a computer terminal and read or inspect small parts and details.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs, provide compassionate and attentive service, and identify and resolve potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help customers locate items as needed.
• Accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Assist customers across departments, including photo and beauty, and help keep departments stocked and operational while staying current on services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as part of growth and career development opportunities.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers on their path to better health.
