About The Position

This limited-time seasonal role supports increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. The Retail Store Associate works independently and as part of a team in a customer-focused retail setting, helping customers and supporting store operations. The role may also include opportunities to assist pharmacy personnel and work regular shifts in the pharmacy.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
Remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods.
Lift and exert up to 35 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount regularly, including overhead lifting.
Have close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visually inspecting small parts or details.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, showing compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help them locate additional items when needed.
Accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
Support all departments, including photo and beauty, keeping them stocked and operational and staying current with services and tools.
Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as an opportunity for growth and career development.
Promote and advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.
