About The Position

Store Associates support all areas of daily store operations, including checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional displays. The role delivers friendly, efficient customer service while meeting productivity, quality, presentation, cleanliness, inventory-control, and safety standards. Associates work as part of a team in a structured, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing store needs throughout their shift.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas as store needs change.
Meet productivity goals and follow store processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory-control measures to help maintain accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to help ensure a safe environment for customers and team members.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
