About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations in a structured, team-based environment. The role includes customer service, checkout, stocking, bakery and produce tasks, freshness checks, promotional display setup, cleaning, inventory control, and safety. Associates move between roles as store needs change, work at a fast pace, and help complete daily tasks to support smooth operations across shifts.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs.
Ability to reach above head height (10+ inches) frequently.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other store areas as needed.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price lookup codes.
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to help maintain inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth store operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
